What are CompReviews?

With CompReviews, we attempt to provide a space where we can all share commentary about recent scholarly books. For this initial launch of CompReviews, we focus only on recent books, those published within the past 2 years. As a result, this feature is closely connected with the Recent Books section of CompPile, and at least initially we are accepting only CompReviews associated with books listed in the Recent Books section of CompPile.

From this page you can follow one of two paths to read CompReviews and submit CompReviews:

1. Start with the list of CompReviews: from there, you can read CompReviews and submit your own CompReviews, or
2. Start with the list of Recently Published Books: from there, you can read CompReviews associated with particular titles and submit your own CompReview.

In addition

• You can suggest a book or a publisher to be added to the list of Recent Books
• You can send a citation or a link to reviews of Recent Books that have been published in journals or online (a blog or other web space)

We'll appreciate any feedback on CompReviews and Recent Books features.

Next steps:

• Enable CompReviews for any book currently listed in CompPile
• Enable CompReviews for individual chapters in edited collections
