- iMOAT MIT Online Assessment Tool: Developed by Les Perelman @ MIT.
- Using IMOAT, developed under the leadership of Les Perelman, Louisiana State University developed their Online Challenge, a system that invites students to challenge their ACT or SAT placement. The Challenge system, in effect, does a first sort of students whose writing ability should be evaluated carefully.
